In keeping with Presbyterian practice, the oversight and care of the congregation is entrusted to a group of elders who are assisted by deacons
These men are committed to the central teachings of the Bible as summarised in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. They are also committed to caring for the congregation in every way they can.
The Church Elders are Angus Macleod and Assessor Edler Alistair Lucas and the Deacons are Ivan Beattie (who also serves as Church Treasurer), Scott Goodrich and Richard Beattie. Each of these men who are entrusted with the care of Groomsport EPC demonstrate genuine love for the congregation and for the wider community in the village and beyond.
